This notice explains how we handle the personal data collected on eu-label.it, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we collect and why
We only collect what you write in the site's forms (contact, free trial, partner programme): name, winery or company, email and, if you enter them, phone, country, number of wines, type of business and message.
We use it to answer your request, activate your free trial or assess your partner application. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising without your separate consent.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 24 months after the last contact. If you become a customer, the data becomes part of the contract and is kept for the periods required by law, for example for tax purposes.
Who can see it
The data is stored on servers in the European Union. Only the providers we need to run the website and email (hosting and email) can access it, as data processors. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
eu-label.it uses no cookies, analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are loaded from our own server, with no requests to outside services.
The e-label pages (viewer.eu-label.it) that consumers open from the QR code also use no cookies and collect no data about their readers. Technical server logs, such as IP addresses, are kept for a short time for security only.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Articles 15-22 GDPR). Just write to info@eu-label.it.
If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority in your country.
