Since 8 December 2023, wines must show their ingredients and a nutrition declaration. Only the energy value has to be on the bottle: the rest can sit behind a QR code.

What must stay on the bottle and what can go in the QR code?
The physical label keeps the energy value (the symbol "E" is enough) and the allergens, plus all the usual mandatory particulars. The full list of ingredients and the nutrition table can be on the page the QR code opens.
If I change something, do I have to reprint my labels?
No. The QR code always points to the same address: update the data in the panel and the page changes straight away.
Does the page collect data about people who scan it?
No. The rules forbid using the e-label page for marketing or tracking, and ours has no cookies and no ads.
Does it work for sparkling wine and bag-in-box?
Yes, and for semi-sparkling and aromatised wines, kegs and cans too. You list the packaging components and the page shows the material and collection for each.
Can I use my GTIN?
Yes. The QR code can also carry the GTIN using the GS1 Digital Link standard.
What happens at the end of the trial?
We remind you before it ends. If you choose a plan the page stays online without interruption, otherwise it is suspended.
